Leo Wiberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mansour Buffon having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erasmo Vela during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Atila Edu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mansour Trezeguet in the 11th minute of play. Leo Wiberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Mansour Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mansour Trezeguet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Riquelme Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Mansour Trezeguet came free, but Atila Edu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes Riquelme Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Meder. Oliviero Bermejo hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Leo Wiberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mansour Trezeguet struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Atila Edu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus FC. Mansour Trezeguet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Atila Edu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Salvi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mansour Buffon having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Mansour Cannavaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juventus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 40th minute, Igor Zubeldia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Mansour Trezeguet notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Riquelme Fútbol Club's Atila Edu. Atila Edu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute, Mansour Trezeguet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mansour Trezeguet to make the kick off. The supporters of Riquelme Fútbol Club booed when Juventus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Zubeldia didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Salvi in the 54th managed to get into a good position. Mansour Trezeguet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Atila Edu made a huge save. If Berto Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mansour Trezeguet had several of the Riquelme Fútbol Club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Atila Edu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Riquelme Fútbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Mansour Trezeguet scored to the left of an out of position Atila Edu, making the score, 0-4. In the 70th match minute, Juventus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliviero Bermejo to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd match minute, Riquelme Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Wiberg to maneuver through the defense. Atila Edu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mansour Trezeguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the match, Riquelme Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Abarrotz Torres came free, but Atila Edu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Riquelme Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Meder to maneuver through the defense. Mansour Trezeguet struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Pablo Meder took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mansour Buffon. Juventus FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Juventus FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
