Spectators: 7545 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Club Vertigo's Dumitru Mavrogheni started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alexandros Pantazakos scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gelu Pașcalău, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexandros Pantazakos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gelu Pașcalău read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the Club Vertigo defense, Alexandros Pantazakos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gelu Pașcalău. The Club Vertigo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gelu Pașcalău should have stopped the shot. Arnaldo Lope hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Club Vertigo's Gelu Pașcalău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Pantazakos in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Ştefan Panțuru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-2 became the score in the 26th minute when Ştefan Panțuru elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandros Pantazakos came free, but Gelu Pașcalău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Arnaldo Lope hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ştefan Panțuru got free with Eliseu Negri in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ştefan Panțuru came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Club Vertigo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ştefan Panțuru couldn't finish the play. In the 45th match minute, New Loser FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jailson de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 52nd minute, Bebeto Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54thth minute of the game Gildo Corrêa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Vertigo's Gelu Pașcalău was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the game, New Loser FC's Alexandros Pantazakos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gelu Pașcalău made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After 58 minutes of play, Club Vertigo's Nistor Iftimescu made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseu Negri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gildo Corrêa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gelu Pașcalău came out and tried to block the shot, but Gildo Corrêa slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the game, Dumitru Mavrogheni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Eliseu Negri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ştefan Panțuru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes New Loser FC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Munhoz. After 74 played minutes Club Vertigo got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Panțuru. New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Panțuru in the 78th minute of play. Eliseu Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ştefan Panțuru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandros Pantazakos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Gelu Pașcalău made a huge save. Gelu Pașcalău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gildo Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in New Loser FC's zone, Ştefan Panțuru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Negri came out of the goal and Ştefan Panțuru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. New Loser FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
