The referee ignored Knight Of Dawn's protests and gave Omar Ortzi a yellow card for diving instead. With an all-out effort, Eleven Nation Army's Eulalio Servando threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Karl-Magnus Spetz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marcus Svanér showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Baraquiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Eulalio Servando successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 43 minutes into the match, Sven Uter dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eulalio Servando, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven Uter was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ambrosio Gar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knight Of Dawn's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Gar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Svanér breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Alejandro Henrico took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Marcus Svanér to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Magnus Spetz in the 63rd minute of play forced Knight Of Dawn's goalkeeper Eulalio Servando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eulalio Servando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Gudmundsson in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Eleven Nation Army getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Leo Fernström hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Fernström during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Eleven Nation Army's Marcus Svanér got control of the ball when Alejandro Henrico tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute Knight Of Dawn were awarded a corner. Ambrosio Gar went to the cornerflag to take it. Cayetano Baraquiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Svanér having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Eleven Nation Army's Felix Gudmundsson got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Eulalio Servando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Gudmundsson in the 86th minute of play. Marcus Svanér made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Cayetano Baraquiel sent off a good shot on target. The Eleven Nation Army manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Knight Of Dawn to win.
