Göran Ekeberg kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Warberg FC's Börje Magnusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paes in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. got a corner. Warberg FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Paes ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Emílio Bueno heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Warberg FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emílio Bueno 14 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Warberg FC's zone, Pedro Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börje Magnusson came out of the goal and Pedro Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Pedro Paes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Börje Magnusson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaroslaw Kolbe got free with Börje Magnusson in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. booed when Warberg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Ekeberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Kenneth Öberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Warberg FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. the free kick. Kenneth Öberg kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Wellington Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Ekeberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Emílio Bueno took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Börje Magnusson to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 42 minutes, Ture Strömberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warberg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ture Strömberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wellington Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Ekeberg in the 46th minute of the match. Pedro Paes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Wincent Wydrych's late challenge caught a Warberg FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wincent Wydrych helped the player get up and apologised. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Wellington Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Hermansson in the 53rd minute of play. When Ture Strömberg came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Warberg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ture Strömberg couldn't finish the play. Gunnar Österberg hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Ture Strömbergs short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Wellington Fernandes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ture Strömberg had several of the Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 74 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Wellington Fernandes as he didn't even see the shot coming. Pedro Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Warberg FC's Ture Strömberg got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Börje Magnusson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Paes went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. had won after a very even match.
