Kostas Tsioris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ture Strömberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Gunnar Österberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warberg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Österberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kostas Tsioris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute, Gunnar Österberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Warberg FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Gunnar Österberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kostas Tsioris. AC Milan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gunnar Österberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 19 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Ture Strömberg came free, but Kostas Tsioris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Gunnar Österberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Kostas Tsioris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ture Strömberg came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Warberg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ture Strömberg couldn't finish the play. Warberg FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Chatziantoniou Michail scored to the left of an out of position Börje Magnusson, making the score, 1-4. Petros Malioufas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Börje Magnusson firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 43rd minute, Göran Ekeberg had to leave the field with a concussion. 43 minutes into the game, Thodoris Pavlakakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Milan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Warberg FC the free kick. In the 46th minute Sören Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Tsioris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petros Malioufas made a kick off. Petros Malioufas hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ture Strömberg in the 53rd minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Kostas Tsioris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Warberg FC's Gunnar Österberg got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Warberg FC booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aris Kortzidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Takis Tsirilidis kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 63 minutes of play, Warberg FC's Gunnar Österberg made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kostas Tsioris was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kostas Tsioris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Österberg in the 65th minute of the match. A collision led to AC Milan getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Takis Tsirilidis hit a great ball. With a little luck, AC Milan's Kostas Tsioris got control of the ball when Gunnar Österberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chatziantoniou Michail fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Magnusson having to interfere. Gunnar Österberg took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kostas Tsioris. Kostas Tsioris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Chatziantoniou Michail sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The AC Milan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Warberg FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
