Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E. C. Flamengo Paraibano the free kick. After the first half Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Erberk Tunçkol made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Erberk Tunçkol came free, but Wellington Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Albin Anundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
