Spectators: 7444 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hermínio Neiva started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Travassos in the 7th minute of play forced TRAKINAS FC's goalkeeper Válter Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Válter Terra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, TRAKINAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paes came free, but Válter Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Travassos in the 13th minute of play forced TRAKINAS FC's goalkeeper Válter Terra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Válter Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Bueno in the 16th minute of play. João Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Válter Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Emílio Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Renatinho Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renatinho Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Hermínio Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Pedro Paulo França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Pedro Paes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of TRAKINAS FC's Válter Terra. Válter Terra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Paes took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Válter Terra. Válter Terra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 35 minutes into the match, Pedro Paes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Válter Terra. TRAKINAS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Paes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 43 minutes into the match, Alfredinho Faria notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of TRAKINAS FC's Válter Terra. Válter Terra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Paes to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, TRAKINAS FC's Hermínio Neiva got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Renatinho Peres fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TRAKINAS FC's protests and gave Renatinho Peres a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, TRAKINAS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho Peres to maneuver through the defense. Válter Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paes in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Emílio Bueno lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Válter Terra. Pedro Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Pedro Paes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Válter Terra firmly grabbed it by the left post. Válter Terra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emílio Bueno went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Pedro Paes took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Válter Terra to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, TRAKINAS FC's Válter Terra got control of the ball when Pedro Paes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute João Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Válter Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emílio Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Válter Terra was a little too slow when Emílio Bueno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-8. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind TRAKINAS FC's goalkeeper Válter Terra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. TRAKINAS FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when João Travassos scored to the left of an out of position Válter Terra, making the score, 0-9. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
