The supporters of Recolta Alamor booed when Lithuanian amber was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramūnas Grigutis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Lithuanian amber's goal looked a bit too open when Jerrod Dickinson came free, but Alfredas Pakintis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Recolta Alamor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norman Donnelly to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norman Donnelly got free with Alfredas Pakintis in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Rex Ellis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfredas Pakintis. That made the score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. Rex Ellis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Recolta Alamor's Grigore Proca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liudas Murauskis in the 43rd minute of play. Lithuanian amber's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Recolta Alamor the free kick. The Lithuanian amber fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredas Pakintis should have stopped the shot. Alfredas Pakintis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rex Ellis in the 71st minute of play. Rex Ellis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredas Pakintis having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Phil Riggs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grigore Proca was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Liudas Murauskis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Liudas Murauskis really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. After having played for 83 minutes, Dominic Connelly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Recolta Alamor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominic Connelly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 played minutes, Recolta Alamor's Phil Riggs shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfredas Pakintis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Recolta Alamor.
