Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lucas Nordkvist took the kick off in the first half of the match. Phoenix Strikers's Johnny Visch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Nordkvist in the 6th minute of play. In the 8thth minute of the game Lucas Nordkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phoenix Strikers's Johnny Visch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th match minute, FK Ekebo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Anselius to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Phoenix Strikers's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Nordkvist came free, but Johnny Visch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lucas Nordkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Phoenix Strikers's zone, Lucas Nordkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Visch came out of the goal and Lucas Nordkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FK Ekebo's Lucas Nordkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johnny Visch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Nordkvist went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 40 played minutes, Phoenix Strikers's Eduard Boroș shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jimmie Edström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Phoenix Strikers reached it. After 43 minutes of play, FK Ekebo's Lucas Nordkvist made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johnny Visch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Pavel Haaland made the kick off in the second half. Ionuț Romeo charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ionuț Romeo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Nordkvist in the 59th minute of play forced Phoenix Strikers's goalkeeper Johnny Visch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johnny Visch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Nordkvist in the 62nd minute. In the 65th match minute, FK Ekebo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Nordkvist to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pavel Haaland during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lucas Nordkvist succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 67th playminute. In the 72nd minute Lucas Nordkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Visch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as FK Ekebo's Lucas Nordkvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Johnny Visch. That made the score 0-4 after 74 minutes of play. Lucas Nordkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tim Ståhlberg hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 82 minutes in the game, Pavel Haaland dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Håkan Pettersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Örjan Kullander hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Phoenix Strikers's Ionuț Romeo in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK Ekebo's goalie prevented a goal. Lennart Anselius hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Phoenix Strikers's Johnny Visch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Phoenix Strikers from getting a goal against them. When the match was over FK Ekebo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Phoenix Strikers throughout the match.
