Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Miguel Gilabert kicked off to start the match. When Miguel Gilabert came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the La Zabaleta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Gilabert couldn't finish the play. Robustiano Calixto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Micah Vesović showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Godfredo Gabon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Eske Aksel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Zabaleta's Miguel Gilabert got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robustiano Calixto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Claes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 minutes of play, La Zabaleta's Miguel Gilabert made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robustiano Calixto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robustiano Calixto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Micah Vesović went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. A nice corner shot did that Arturo Henrico got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Robustiano Calixto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 30th minute, La Zabaleta's Micah Vesović ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Robustiano Calixto. Robustiano Calixto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Robustiano Calixto came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by La Zabaleta's Miguel Gilabert. But to his dismay, Miguel Gilabert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 37th play minute Andy Claes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Robustiano Calixto. 7-0. After 40 minutes of play, La Zabaleta's Miguel Gilabert made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robustiano Calixto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute, Anibal Quintan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Catarinense F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-1.
The wind increased when Godfredo Gabon made the kick off in the second half. Robustiano Calixto came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by La Zabaleta's Miguel Gilabert. But to his dismay, Miguel Gilabert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. Robustiano Calixto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Claes in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Andy Claes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Calixto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 minutes of play, La Zabaleta's Miguel Gilabert made it 10-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robustiano Calixto was left in no man's land by his defense there! 64 minutes into the game, La Zabaleta's Andy Claes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robustiano Calixto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-1. 71 minutes into the match, Miguel Gilabert notched a goal, 12-1, to the right of Catarinense F.C.'s Robustiano Calixto. Robustiano Calixto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robustiano Calixto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Micah Vesović went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-1 was the resulting score. Eske Aksel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Emmanuel in the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Miguel Gilabert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Zabaleta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-1. 86 minutes into the game, Miguel Gilabert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 15-1. Robustiano Calixto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robustiano Calixto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Claes, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 91 minutes of play, La Zabaleta's Micah Vesović made it 16-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robustiano Calixto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Catarinense F.C.'s zone, Miguel Gilabert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Calixto came out of the goal and Miguel Gilabert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Miguel Gilabert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Zabaleta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
