An unexpectedly hard shot by Friedel Wahlberg in the 21st minute of play forced La Zabaleta's goalkeeper Eske Aksel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eske Aksel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luka Reich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Gilabert got free with Matthew Jastrzembowski in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to La Zabaleta getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Erubiel Diagur hit a great ball. Hamburg Fighters's Matthew Jastrzembowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Hamburg Fighters from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, La Zabaleta's Eske Aksel got control of the ball when Uri Eckardt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eske Aksel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Friedel Wahlberg in the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Hamburg Fighters booed when La Zabaleta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Diagur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erubiel Diagur hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, La Zabaleta's goalkeeper Eske Aksel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luka Reich. The La Zabaleta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hamburg Fighters were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
