Diego Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Pernambucano in the 3rd minute of play. Tiaguinho Moreno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Diego Vargas made a huge save. Diego Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélio Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th play minute Kauan Amaral came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Diego Vargas. 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Kauan Amaral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Vargas. Mercado Paulista F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kauan Amaral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The supporters of Mercado Paulista F.C booed when 27 de Mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mercado Paulista F.C's Diego Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiaguinho Moreno in the 16th minute of play. Hélio Pernambucano scored 3-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Vargas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When 27 de Mayo's Kauan Amaral in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mercado Paulista F.C's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Mercado Paulista F.C's Ramon Tancredo got a free kick in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Kauan Amaral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Vargas. Diego Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélio Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's goalkeeper Diego Vargas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kauan Amaral. Tiaguinho Moreno received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Diego Vargas came out and tried to block the shot, but Tiaguinho Moreno slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 42nd minute. Diego Vargas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kauan Amaral went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomero Hernandez to make the kick off. Diego Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Pernambucano in the 55th minute of the match. Diego Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauan Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Hélio Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Vargas having to interfere. Diego Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauan Amaral in the 70th minute of the match. Tiaguinho Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Diego Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, one of Mercado Paulista F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mercado Paulista F.C. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for 27 de Mayo. Ciro Gaspar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Diego Vargas. 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio Pernambucano in the 81st minute of play forced Mercado Paulista F.C's goalkeeper Diego Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kauan Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Diego Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauan Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Tiaguinho Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 27 de Mayo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiaguinho Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Mercado Paulista F.C defense, Kauan Amaral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Vargas. The Mercado Paulista F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Vargas should have stopped the shot. Diego Vargas came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by 27 de Mayo's Kauan Amaral. But to his dismay, Kauan Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Diego Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauan Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. 100 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Amaral came free, but Diego Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 de Mayo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
