Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Per-Åke Lundgren to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Academia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Åke Lundgren came free, but Ignacio Orland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Kasper Vallman notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Academia FC's Ignacio Orland. In the 85th minute Kasper Vallman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Orland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mario Fraco fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia FC's protests and gave Mario Fraco a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Academia FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Mario Fraco hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Åke Lundgren in the 89th minute of play forced Academia FC's goalkeeper Ignacio Orland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Academia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper Vallman came free, but Ignacio Orland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gnesta Oilers had played much better football throughout.
