Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Mapovihesa FC's Niceto Aires in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tony Van Der Weghen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Aires in the 68th minute of play. Tony Van Der Weghen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niceto Aires went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bruges's goalkeeper Tony Van Der Weghen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tony Van Der Weghen was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Niceto Aires capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niceto Aires really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After having played for 81 minutes, Niceto Aires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mapovihesa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Aires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Tiburcio Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Aires in the 85th minute of play forced FC Bruges's goalkeeper Tony Van Der Weghen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Van Der Weghen was a little too slow when Niceto Aires got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-6. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mapovihesa FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
