In the 8th minute Giovanni Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Goldthorpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 minutes América Magics Fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erasmo Arce who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Noel Sena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Will Goldthorpe was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The supporters of São Paulo Leste F.C. booed when América Magics Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Ted to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giovanni Domingues in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Will Goldthorpe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Will Goldthorpe managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when São Paulo Leste F.C.'s Noel Sena fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nilton Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Ted in the 58th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Mané Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Armando Belenko came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the América Magics Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Belenko couldn't finish the play. Will Goldthorpe made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Noel Sena sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the match, América Magics Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Domingues came free, but Will Goldthorpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Will Goldthorpe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giovanni Domingues's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Ermegildo Gorka hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Will Goldthorpe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Noel Sena in the 90th minute. Ermegildo Gorka kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Will Goldthorpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
