The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Shingo Aoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sconvols United and the ★ Lobos FC ★ players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Willian Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 7th minute of the match, Jun Misugi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Buba Lopez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 10th minute, Luiz Faria reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Buba Lopez. The goal made the score 1-0. If Jun Misugi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Angelo Di Salvatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Lovo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With 23 minutes on the clock, Shingo Aoi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of ★ Lobos FC ★ booed when Sconvols United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shingo Aoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the ★ Lobos FC ★ defense, Jun Misugi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Buba Lopez. The ★ Lobos FC ★ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Buba Lopez should have stopped the shot. Luiz Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sconvols United's Enzo Andreassi got a free kick in the 38th minute. The supporters of ★ Lobos FC ★ booed when Sconvols United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Aceto didn't get a good kick on the ball. ★ Lobos FC ★'s Angel Quijada got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jun Misugi in the 47th minute of play forced ★ Lobos FC ★'s goalkeeper Buba Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Jun Misugi made the kick off in the second half. Luiz Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Buba Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ★ Lobos FC ★'s Buba Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jun Misugi in the 53rd minute of play. Buba Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jun Misugi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, ★ Lobos FC ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Jun Misugi came free, but Buba Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sconvols United's Angelo Di Salvatore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Sconvols United from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute, Jun Misugi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Buba Lopez was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Jun Misugi might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Buba Lopez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jun Misugi ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the match, ★ Lobos FC ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Jun Misugi came free, but Buba Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Lara's late challenge caught a Sconvols United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Lara helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sconvols United booed when ★ Lobos FC ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute Erick Santamaria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Di Salvatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Luiz Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sconvols United's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Buba Lopez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ★ Lobos FC ★'s Buba Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Andreassi in the 91st minute of play. Buba Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Hurtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Angelo Di Salvatore made a huge save.
