Gilberto Arias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Italia's zone, Octavio Bento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Arias came out of the goal and Octavio Bento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Fabian Gipuzkoa fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Italia's protests and gave Fabian Gipuzkoa a yellow card for diving instead. Fabian Gipuzkoa hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Italia's Gilberto Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Boni in the 43rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavio Bento in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Arias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Gipuzkoa was the one to do the kick off. Octavio Bento's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Gilberto Arias skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 56th minute of the match, Octavio Bento got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gilberto Arias was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The corner led chacarita1969's Ildefonso Pitin to fire away a dangerous shot which Gilberto Arias despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gilberto Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Eduino, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 66 minutes into the match, chacarita1969's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Gipuzkoa came free, but Jeronimo Abaurre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes Italia got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Costante. Honorio Jon lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Jeronimo Abaurre had in the 73rdth minute some difficulties stopping Fabian Gipuzkoa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Fabian Gipuzkoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jeronimo Abaurre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gilberto Arias made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Lorenzo Eduino sent off a good shot on target. If Eustacio Boni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Arias made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Lorenzo Eduino sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Eustacio Boni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The chacarita1969 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. chacarita1969's Lorenzo Eduino got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prospero Johans during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Braulio Nalo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. A collision led to chacarita1969 getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Moises Gergori hit a great ball. When the match was over chacarita1969 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Italia throughout the match.
