Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Filipe de Souza. Thanks to some nice moves Frederico Gomes could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Apolo Ted however easily saved by the left post. Apolo Ted made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Frederico Gomes sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cremonese's goalkeeper Apolo Ted, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ildefonso Savion hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. When Melchor Arias fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cremonese's protests and gave Melchor Arias a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when Cremonese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Cremonese's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Luz came free, but Apolo Ted reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. S.E. Cachoeirinha's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nilmar do Valle in the 32nd minute. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Nilmar do Valle was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Apolo Ted in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Elias Vianna hit a great ball. Eustaquio Azibar charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eustaquio Azibar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of S.E. Cachoeirinha booed when Cremonese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Azibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorival Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Eustaquio Azibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Arias in the 47th minute of play forced S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Betão de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Marcelino Sayvion made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Melchor Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Secco's late challenge caught a Cremonese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Secco helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cremonese booed when S.E. Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th match minute, Cremonese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Azibar to maneuver through the defense. Melchor Arias hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Eustaquio Azibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Betão de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute of the match S.E. Cachoeirinha got a corner. Cremonese's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nilmar do Valle ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nilmar do Valle made a great header on S.E. Cachoeirinha's corner, it was just that Cremonese's Apolo Ted managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Elder Luz got a free kick in the 91st minute. When the referee ended the match the S.E. Cachoeirinha players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
