Bertil Hedlund's late challenge caught a INTER Sosnowiec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertil Hedlund helped the player get up and apologised. Bertil Hedlund kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafal Cempa in the 5th minute of play forced Catholic Church's goalkeeper Alfonso De Santis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, INTER Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Szczepan Indyk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Åke Ståhlberg. 16 minutes into the match, INTER Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Bennet came free, but Szczepan Indyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso De Santis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafal Cempa in the 18th minute of the match. Tomas Åström hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, INTER Sosnowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szymon Puchlik to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso De Santis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lech Luty, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Alfonso De Santis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kajetan Dlugi in the 27th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes INTER Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Cyprian Brytka. INTER Sosnowiec's Szczepan Indyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Bennet in the 33rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Catholic Church's Szczepan Indyk threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tommy Bennet, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 37th minute, INTER Sosnowiec's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Stig-Åke Ståhlberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tommy Bennet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Szczepan Indyk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alfonso De Santis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kajetan Dlugi in the 39th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zebastian Hedkvist during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute of the match Jacek Majkowski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfonso De Santis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Tomas Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szczepan Indyk having to interfere. Klement Okraszewski hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Catholic Church's Alfonso De Santis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klement Okraszewski in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Catholic Church's Zebastian Hedkvist got a free kick in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Catholic Church's zone, Jacek Majkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso De Santis came out of the goal and Jacek Majkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute of the match Jim Ennegren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Szczepan Indyk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Cyprian Brytka put in a rough tackle. 66 minutes into the game, one of INTER Sosnowiec:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 68th minute, Jim Ennegren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Szczepan Indyk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Alfonso De Santis was a little too slow when Jacek Majkowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-1. Lech Luty received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfonso De Santis came out and tried to block the shot, but Lech Luty slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 78th minute. Jim Ennegren hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Stig-Åke Ståhlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szczepan Indyk having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Stig-Åke Ståhlberg made a precise shot to the right of Szczepan Indyk. INTER Sosnowiec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
