In the 14th minute, Yuri Gaspar made a precise shot to the right of Dário Pernambucano. Brasiliense FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jiang Gang hit a great ball. The Sporting Clube Patrício fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Sporting Clube Patrício's Yuri Gaspar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jiang Gang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sidney Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Yuri Gaspar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dário Pernambucano. That made the score 5-0 in the 35 minute of play. Sidney Pombal made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sporting Clube Patrício's Gabriel Meira. After having played for 43 minutes, Jarbas Fontoura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Clube Patrício's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarbas Fontoura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.
The wind increased when Jiang Gang made the kick off in the second half. Dário Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Brasiliense FC defense, Jiang Gang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dário Pernambucano. The Brasiliense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dário Pernambucano should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the game, Sidney Pombal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brasiliense FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Clube Patrício the free kick. Dário Pernambucano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Clube Patrício. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Patrício's Aristides Soveral got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Dário Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Gaspar in the 75th minute of the match. Yuri Gaspar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dário Pernambucano having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Brasiliense FC's zone, Yuri Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dário Pernambucano came out of the goal and Yuri Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermínio Amorim hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Dário Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Aristides Soveral kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Agnaldo Mandrak came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Brasiliense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agnaldo Mandrak couldn't finish the play. The Sporting Clube Patrício fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Sporting Clube Patrício's Yuri Gaspar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aristides Soveral charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aristides Soveral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Aristides Soveral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agnaldo Mandrak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Almiro Setúbal made a huge save. Brasiliense FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
