Ulisses Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Tomas Åström kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Costa during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Augusto Costa hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 20 minutes of play, Catholic Church's Tommy Bennet made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toninho Quadros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zebastian Hedkvist hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Toninho Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Bennet in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Castro in the 27th minute of play forced Catholic Church's goalkeeper Alfonso De Santis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toninho Quadros came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Catholic Church's Tommy Bennet. But to his dismay, Tommy Bennet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Alfonso De Santis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doni Lima in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Catholic Church was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Hedlund to maneuver through the defense. Toninho Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Ståhlberg in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Ulisses Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Åström took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toninho Quadros. Toninho Quadros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Toninho Quadros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig-Åke Ståhlberg went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 82 minutes, Eugênio Linhares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube dos pro and the Catholic Church players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Clube dos pro getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Eugênio Linhares hit a great ball. When Zebastian Hedkvist fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Catholic Church's protests and gave Zebastian Hedkvist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Clube dos pro booed when Catholic Church was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zebastian Hedkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doni Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Catholic Church had won after a very even match.
