In the 10th minute Jacinto Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Schmidt came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Classe A Futebol Clube's Tony Favoretto. But to his dismay, Tony Favoretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jacinto Fantini scored 0-3 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Igor Schmidt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Igor Schmidt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hudson Hoffmann's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 비 사 hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. AC Metropol's Jarbas Azevedo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Enio Maia in the 29 minute of the game. Carlos Fernando Santana hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Wilson de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tony Favoretto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tony Favoretto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 52nd playminute. In the 55th minute, Elivélton Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in AC Metropol's zone, Enio Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Schmidt came out of the goal and Enio Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Adalberto Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Favoretto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Schmidt having to make a save. AC Metropol's Igor Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elivélton Seco in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Hudson Hoffmann recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Igor Schmidt. Hudson Hoffmann showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Eduardo Favoretto kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Classe A Futebol Clube's Joélson de Amorim shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Igor Schmidt but with some difficulty. When Carlos Fernando Santana fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Classe A Futebol Clube's protests and gave Carlos Fernando Santana a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, AC Metropol's Igor Schmidt got control of the ball when Jacinto Fantini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hudson Hoffmann's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Igor Schmidt firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 82nd minute, Tony Favoretto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AC Metropol's Igor Schmidt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save AC Metropol from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Fantini in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Schmidt saved AC Metropol from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Classe A Futebol Clube's Jacinto Fantini got a free kick in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Favoretto in the 88th minute of play forced AC Metropol's goalkeeper Igor Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hudson Hoffmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Igor Schmidt made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, AC Metropol's goalkeeper Igor Schmidt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hudson Hoffmann. The crowd rose to their feet as Classe A Futebol Clube's Jacinto Fantini slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Igor Schmidt. That made the score 0-6 after 91 minutes of play. In the 95th minute, Elivélton Seco made a precise shot to the right of Igor Schmidt. AC Metropol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Classe A Futebol Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
