Edin Džeko might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zenon Chlapowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edin Džeko ran back to his position shaking his head. Roch Felenak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Kacper Tobiáš made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, F.C. Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Kacper Tobiáš had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roch Felenak. TS Wisła Kraków's Zenon Chlapowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edin Džeko in the 18th minute of play. Kacper Tobiáš made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roch Felenak in the 22nd minute. After 22 played minutes F.C. Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Yu Sha Xu. In the 23rd minute Slawomir Mudry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kacper Tobiáš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. F.C. Sosnowiec's Kacper Tobiáš proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Sosnowiec from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edin Džeko in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zenon Chlapowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the match, Edin Džeko notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of TS Wisła Kraków's Zenon Chlapowski. Zenon Chlapowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute, Edin Džeko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. Sosnowiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half F.C. Sosnowiec were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, TS Wisła Kraków's Slawomir Mudry got a free kick in the 54th minute. When F.C. Zenon Chlapowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edin Džeko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 66 minute of play. F.C. Sosnowiec's Iwan Cempa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zenon Chlapowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edin Džeko in the 77th minute of play forced TS Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Zenon Chlapowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kacper Tobiáš took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roch Felenak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The goalkeeper, Zenon Chlapowski, was totally fooled by F.C. Sosnowiec's Konstanty Literski, who 82 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slawomir Mudry in the 93rd minute of play forced F.C. Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Kacper Tobiáš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zenon Chlapowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edin Džeko, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. In the 98th minute, Rodolfo Goito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patryk Polakowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Kacper Tobiáš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The F.C. Sosnowiec players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
