Green Zombies's János Szepes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Green Zombies from getting a goal against them. In the 4th match minute, Green Zombies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nándor Gera to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Benedicto Atarratze sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but János Szepes skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartjan Verheije got free with János Szepes in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of SK Gullegem booed when Green Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nándor Gera didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 minutes of play, SK Gullegem's Otto Nørlinger made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. János Szepes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the match, Green Zombies's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias-Alexander Jamieson came free, but János Szepes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes in the game, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Mathias-Alexander Jamieson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. János Szepes came out and tried to block the shot, but Mathias-Alexander Jamieson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 34th minute. Jeromos Medve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urmas Känsäkangas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Atarratze in the 40th minute of play forced Green Zombies's goalkeeper János Szepes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hannes Jamieson got free with János Szepes in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. János Szepes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Nørlinger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SK Gullegem getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Benedicto Atarratze hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
Green Zombies's Nándor Zolnai was substituted for Ervin Fenyves. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zoltán Csonka to strike the kick off in the second half. János Szepes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartjan Verheije, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute Emil Halász shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urmas Känsäkangas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. János Szepes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Jamieson in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66thth minute of the game Mathias-Alexander Jamieson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Zombies's János Szepes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hannes Jamieson took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised János Szepes. János Szepes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Bartjan Verheije took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised János Szepes. János Szepes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Benedicto Atarratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. János Szepes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathias-Alexander Jamieson went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. When Péter Nyitrai fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Zombies's protests and gave Péter Nyitrai a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SK Gullegem booed when Green Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Péter Nyitrai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute of the match SK Gullegem got a corner. Green Zombies's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bruno Renan ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes Jamieson in the 85th minute of play forced Green Zombies's goalkeeper János Szepes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. János Szepes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartjan Verheije in the 87th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. János Szepes was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SK Gullegem had won after a very even match.
