Colo-Colo's Emiliano Marcó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Olof Mogren in the 3rd minute of play. Robin Olsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mati Fernández in the 16th minute of play. Mati Fernández received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Colo-Colo's Chano Garrido got a free kick in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Haymakers FC's Patric Söderqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emiliano Marcó narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Haymakers FC's zone, Toninho Bibikov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Haymakers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Bibikov came free, but Robin Olsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haymakers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 45 minutes into the match, Haymakers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mati Fernández came free, but Robin Olsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Marcos Francisco Aguayo put in a rough tackle. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jim Håkansson was the one to do the kick off. If Villiam Tidén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Colo-Colo's David Henríquez got a free kick in the 60th minute. Emiliano Marcó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Kjellbom in the 64th minute of play.
