That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. 7 minutes into the match, Arrebimba o Malho SLB's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Håkansson came free, but Marciano Eskuin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurt Ahlbeck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marciano Eskuin having to make a save. Marciano Eskuin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Håkansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marciano Eskuin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Håkansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Arrebimba o Malho SLB's zone, Jim Håkansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Eskuin came out of the goal and Jim Håkansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marciano Eskuin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Håkansson in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Jim Håkansson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Marciano Eskuin. Marciano Eskuin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Haymakers FC fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Haymakers FC's Jim Håkansson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Jim Håkansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marciano Eskuin was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Marciano Eskuin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villiam Tidén in the 51st minute of play. Sven-Olof Blomkvist's late challenge caught a Arrebimba o Malho SLB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Olof Blomkvist helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Arrebimba o Malho SLB booed when Haymakers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Olof Blomkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haymakers FC's Robin Olsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Eiró in the 56th minute of play. In the 68th minute Jim Håkansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Eskuin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Jim Håkansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Marciano Eskuin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Haymakers FC's Patric Söderqvist got a free kick in the 71st minute. Robin Olsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Dias in the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Jim Håkansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haymakers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jim Håkansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marciano Eskuin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jim Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Quim Barreiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Olsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Quim Barreiros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robin Olsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After 83 played minutes Haymakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Niclas Hermansson. After recieving a nice pass, Arrebimba o Malho SLB's Sabino Manso tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Haymakers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olavo Eiró came free, but Robin Olsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Arrebimba o Malho SLB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Azenha to maneuver through the defense. Philip Bocklund hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
