After some careless play in the Pereiras FC defense, Ricardo Kaká kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Téo Silva. The Pereiras FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Téo Silva should have stopped the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nelsinho Carneiro to make the kick off. When Enio Palmeira came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Pereiras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enio Palmeira couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Blue Mountain State getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Atahan Erginsoy hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atak Tanın in the 59th minute of play forced Pereiras FC's goalkeeper Téo Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atak Tanın scored 2-3 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Téo Silva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Kaká in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Téo Silva saved Pereiras FC from getting behind. After taking down the ball on Blue Mountain State's corner Ricardo Kaká fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Téo Silva quite easily take care of the ball. 64 minutes into the match it was 2-4 when Ricardo Kaká shot a long shot which zipped by Pereiras FC's goalkeeper at the right pole. Nelsinho Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Işıkalp Kalhan having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, Blue Mountain State was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kayhan Uçhan to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Zikri Akkaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Téo Silva successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Téo Silva came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Blue Mountain State's Ricardo Kaká. But to his dismay, Ricardo Kaká quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. In the 88th minute, Atak Tanın ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Téo Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. Atahan Erginsoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Pereiras FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Júnior Pires hit a great ball.
