In the 10th minute of the match, Fabrício Rocha got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dobromir Keep was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The corner led Purple Shadows's Emil Soliwoda to fire away a dangerous shot which Téo Silva despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Relja Jurišić got free with Téo Silva in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Pereiras FC booed when Purple Shadows was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlastimir Jovanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Purple Shadows's Gorom Kanø got a free kick in the 91st minute. 95 minutes into the match, Purple Shadows's goal looked a bit too open when Nelsinho Carneiro came free, but Dobromir Keep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
