Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Markus Fågel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 26th minute, Iwo Wietrzychowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximino Cristofanini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isak Stålman, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Buitenhout FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isak Stålman came free, but Maximino Cristofanini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Omero Zubiaga fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polly Magoo Juniors's protests and gave Omero Zubiaga a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Polly Magoo Juniors getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Omero Zubiaga hit a great ball. Rafael van Zeggeren's late challenge caught a Polly Magoo Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael van Zeggeren helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Buitenhout FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael van Zeggeren. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sjaak Degens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iwo Wietrzychowski got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Buitenhout FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Polly Magoo Juniors the free kick. A collision led to Buitenhout FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ferry Hebels hit a great ball. Maximino Cristofanini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Bergman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isak Stålman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Maximino Cristofanini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Cristofanini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Bergman, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When the match was over Polly Magoo Juniors could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Buitenhout FC throughout the match.
