Spectators: 7705 (Terracing: 5780, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edward Verbeek kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the game, Abel Van Clijnebreugel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raymond Bos. Abel Van Clijnebreugel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Niels-Jan Carels lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Edward Verbeek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Vincent Dekeyser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Abel Van Clijnebreugel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fauna Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Jan Sterenberg got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 25th minute, Abel Van Clijnebreugel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th match minute, Fauna Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnout Roockeloes to maneuver through the defense. Abel Van Clijnebreugel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Arnout Roockeloes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abel Van Clijnebreugel to make the kick off. Cees Ebbinge kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Lemel SV's Raymond Bos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnout Roockeloes in the 62nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Van Clijnebreugel in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raymond Bos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kierati De Buyser kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel Van Clijnebreugel in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raymond Bos saved Lemel SV from getting behind. Abel Van Clijnebreugel kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Fauna Utd's Abel Van Clijnebreugel got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Jan Sterenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th match minute, Lemel SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Rivelino to maneuver through the defense. 3-0 came in the 92nd minute when Abel Van Clijnebreugel all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Raymond Bos. A collision led to Lemel SV getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jan Sterenberg hit a great ball. Lemel SV's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Fauna Utd had won, even though Lemel SV had held more of the ball.
