After 5 played minutes Lemel SV got a freekick which was hit by Niels-Jan Carels. Raymond Bos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Orlo in the 6th minute of play. Justo Orlo hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, Lemel SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels-Jan Carels to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigiusz Cisek in the 13th minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Raymond Bos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes Lemel SV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olaf Sienkowski who took care of the corner kick. Raymond Bos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Sienkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Roberto Rivelino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyryl Zbydniewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remigiusz Cisek in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raymond Bos saved Lemel SV from getting behind. In the 23rd minute Niels-Jan Carels suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Lemel SV made a substitution. Boudewijn Zeeman replaced Niels-Jan Carels. A collision led to Majachun getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Justo Orlo hit a great ball. Lemel SV's Raymond Bos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomir Piglowski in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Piglowski in the 28th minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Raymond Bos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Lemel SV's Cyryl Zbydniewski threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roberto Rivelino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 37 minutes into the match, Majachun's goalkeeper Cyryl Zbydniewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Verbeek. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Rivelino in the 38th minute of play forced Majachun's goalkeeper Cyryl Zbydniewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Majachun getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Karol Cipinski hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Lemel SV's Cees Ebbinge got a free kick in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Verbeek made a kick off. In the 51st minute Justo Orlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymond Bos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lemel SV's Edward Verbeek in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Majachun's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Edward Verbeek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cyryl Zbydniewski was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. With a little luck, Lemel SV's Raymond Bos got control of the ball when Remigiusz Cisek tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Edward Verbeek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cyryl Zbydniewski was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Justo Orlo took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raymond Bos. Raymond Bos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 82 minutes of play, Lemel SV's Roberto Rivelino made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cyryl Zbydniewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute Roberto Rivelino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyryl Zbydniewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Majachun booed when Lemel SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jelte Erenstein didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 93 in the game by Remigiusz Cisek from a close distance when the talented Raymond Bos managed to make a qualified save. Lemel SV's players were relieved. Raymond Bos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Orlo in the 96th minute of the match. The Majachun supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Majachun would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
