Vincent Dekeyser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isak Stålman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Abel Van Clijnebreugel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fauna Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Van Clijnebreugel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markus Fågel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th match minute, Fauna Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quinton De Buyser to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th match minute, Polly Magoo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Bredberg to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes Fauna Utd got a freekick which was hit by Willy De Becker. Fauna Utd's Vincent Dekeyser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omero Zubiaga in the 36th minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Isak Stålman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fauna Utd's Vincent Dekeyser was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dean De Koq kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Isak Stålman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vincent Dekeyser was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Quinton De Buyser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fauna Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Quinton De Buyser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Fauna Utd's Abel Van Clijnebreugel in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vincent Dekeyser made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Cipriano Hendrickx kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. German Cibran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Gösta Bergman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vincent Dekeyser was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnout Roockeloes in the 75th minute of play forced Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Markus Fågel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Polly Magoo Juniors's Isac Wållander was substituted for Gösta Bergman. Polly Magoo Juniors's Kenny Pavey was substituted for Alf Bredberg. Fauna Utd's Vincent Dekeyser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Fauna Utd from getting a goal against them.
