After 2 minutes, George Hägglund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gärsnäs BF and the Montechiarugolo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Montechiarugolo AFC booed when Gärsnäs BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Hägglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wang Cheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 鲁朋响 in the 4th minute of the match. In the 4th minute, 鲁朋响 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wang Cheng was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Daniele Cammarota came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Montechiarugolo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniele Cammarota couldn't finish the play. Tony Stark kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Carmine Belardi came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Montechiarugolo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmine Belardi couldn't finish the play. After 16 minutes of play, Montechiarugolo AFC's Virgil Roşu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wang Cheng was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wang Cheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Roşu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Wang Cheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmine Belardi in the 26th minute of play. Wang Cheng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmine Belardi's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Carmine Belardi struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Wang Cheng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montechiarugolo AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmine Belardi in the 38th minute of play forced Gärsnäs BF's goalkeeper Wang Cheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Carmine Belardi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wang Cheng was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 42nd minute Ingvar Nyqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Lepori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Nyqvist in the 42nd minute of play forced Montechiarugolo AFC's goalkeeper Fortunato Lepori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carmine Belardi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gärsnäs BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montechiarugolo AFC the free kick. In the 72nd match minute, Gärsnäs BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maido Niit to maneuver through the defense. Wang Cheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmine Belardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute Carmine Belardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wang Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Gärsnäs BF's goal looked a bit too open when Carmine Belardi came free, but Wang Cheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmine Belardis short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Wang Cheng to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dane Friebe in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fortunato Lepori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fortunato Lepori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maido Niit in the 88th minute of the match. Wang Cheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 鲁朋响, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Montechiarugolo AFC were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Gärsnäs BF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmondo Palomba took the corner. 94 minutes into the game, Troizen Mamalis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gärsnäs BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montechiarugolo AFC the free kick. Montechiarugolo AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
