Sorci Viola:s Cesare Simone showed great skill when he stopped Bora Han Hanecioğlu:s penalty. 38 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Cesare Simone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şehzade Sümer. Yaser Topuz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beppe Zoff in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okan Melih in the 44th minute of play forced Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Cesare Simone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şehzade Sümer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Cesare Simone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
