In the 17thth minute of the game Luis Figo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hawelka Himalayan High's Fredrik Bäckström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kent Borre's late challenge caught a Gothic Souls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kent Borre helped the player get up and apologised. Edwin Ivarsson took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Menderes Hikmet. Menderes Hikmet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 27 minutes into the game, Gothic Souls's Luis Figo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fredrik Bäckström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a little luck, Hawelka Himalayan High's Fredrik Bäckström got control of the ball when Luis Figo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Menderes Hikmet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvin Stålman, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Luis Figo made a precise shot to the right of Fredrik Bäckström. Hawelka Himalayan High's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Menderes Hikmet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chad Pro in the 42nd minute of the match. The Gothic Souls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Menderes Hikmet should have stopped the shot. Hawelka Himalayan High's Fredrik Bäckström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Hawelka Himalayan High from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Figo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jesper Arvidsson made in the 55th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gottfrid Almkvist. The supporters of Gothic Souls booed when Hawelka Himalayan High was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesper Arvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 minutes, Chad Pro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hawelka Himalayan High and the Gothic Souls players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Hawelka Himalayan High getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Chad Pro hit a great ball. Jesper Arvidsson kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Hawelka Himalayan High's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Figo came free, but Fredrik Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gothic Souls's Bulut Arıkan got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fredrik Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sezer İnan in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute Sezer İnan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
