In the 3rd minute, Marcial Navarro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Menderes Hikmet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Gothic Souls's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Jago came free, but Menderes Hikmet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Luis Figo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Uriel Berto to make any attempt to save it. In the 15thth minute of the game Sezer İnan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arrecifes's Uriel Berto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sezer İnan spun around in front of the goal 15 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Arrecifes's goal. Uriel Berto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Figo in the 17th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Gothic Souls's Luis Figo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uriel Berto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 20th minute, Edgar Davids hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gothic Souls's goalkeeper Menderes Hikmet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 23 played minutes Arrecifes got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Unax. Uriel Berto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sezer İnan, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Figo got free with Uriel Berto in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute Marcial Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menderes Hikmet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Gothic Souls booed when Arrecifes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Valentine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sezer İnan had several of the Arrecifes's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 46 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Uriel Berto as he didn't even see the shot coming. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabio Jago to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Arrecifes got a freekick which was hit by Donato Valentine. When Marcial Navarro came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Arrecifes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Navarro couldn't finish the play. Arrecifes's Raul Eduino was substituted for Fabio Jago. Arrecifes made a substitution. Igor Emmanuel replaced Marcial Navarro. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Raul Eduino took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Menderes Hikmet to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Raul Eduino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Menderes Hikmet. That made the score 3-3 in the 72 minute of play. Bahadır Yastıkcığlu hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Eriberto Lizardi hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Raul Eduino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Gothic Souls's Menderes Hikmet got control of the ball when Guillermo Orland tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gothic Souls's Menderes Hikmet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Gothic Souls from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the match, Igor Emmanuel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Menderes Hikmet. Gothic Souls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Emmanuel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. The Gothic Souls supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arrecifes's performance. The match ended with a win for Arrecifes.
