DINAMO PLOIESTI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dinamo Colorado the free kick. The wind increased when Cao Yi made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Sima in the 53rd minute of play forced Dinamo Colorado's goalkeeper Wellington Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurinho Vargas got free with Bogdan Stelea in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. During the 72nd minute of the match Walery Roman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Walery Roman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
