In the 15th minute, Romeo Rienda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U.D. Mancini fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Yuri Castanheira hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Rienda in the 24th minute of play forced Altamora FC's goalkeeper Alípio Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Altamora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Rienda came free, but Alípio Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romeo Rienda to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Altamora FC's Rui Medeiros got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Altamora FC:s Alípio Franco showed great skill when he stopped Dagoberto Escobar:s penalty. The excitement rose when U.D. Mancini's Dagoberto Escobar after 57 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Altamora FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-3. With a little luck, Altamora FC's Alípio Franco got control of the ball when Tello Calvo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Romeo Rienda sped through Altamora FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alípio Franco. U.D. Mancini played a much better game than Altamora FC and deserved their victory. The Altamora FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
