After 6 minutes Team Rocco's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Osvaldo Vasques who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Altamora FC's corner Osvaldo Vasques fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcus Klint quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Altamora FC booed when Team Rocco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Klint prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alípio Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Björklund in the 25th minute of the match. Marcus Klint was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 46 minutes into the match, Team Rocco's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Vigário came free, but Marcus Klint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Manuel Vigário came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Altamora FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Vigário couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joakim Björklund was the one to do the kick off. Team Rocco's Marcus Klint played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Vigário in the 53rd minute of play. Lennart Abrahamsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Alípio Franco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 57 minutes into the game, Altamora FC's Manuel Vigário nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Klint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Filipe Águas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Klint showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Vigário, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Ronaldo Espírito Santo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Altamora FC's goalkeeper Alípio Franco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joakim Björklund. Marcus Klint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idalécio Malafaia in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Idalécio Malafaia in the 75th minute of play forced Team Rocco's goalkeeper Marcus Klint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Altamora FC's Idalécio Malafaia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Klint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Ronaldo Espírito Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 79th minute, Manuel Vigário ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus Klint was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Marcus Klint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Vigário in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Vigário in the 96th minute of play forced Team Rocco's goalkeeper Marcus Klint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Altamora FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
