Spectators: 7677 (Terracing: 5758, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Dinamo Colorado's Sidnei Azevedo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. André Monclús's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wellington Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Erramun to maneuver through the defense. Rui Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wellington Abraão came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús. But to his dismay, André Monclús quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that André Monclús's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wellington Abraão was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Dinamo Colorado's zone, Arnaldo Gabon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wellington Abraão came out of the goal and Arnaldo Gabon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Monclús scored 2-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wellington Abraão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Azevedo in the 25th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Uriel Chorche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uriel Chorche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidnei Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Wellington Abraão made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Arnaldo Gabon sent off a good shot on target. Wellington Abraão was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Arnaldo Gabon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnaldo Gabon really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Arnaldo Gabon kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Arnaldo Gabon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Abraão having to interfere. If Arnaldo Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute, Basílio Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Monclús stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Daniel Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basílio Santana got free with Uriel Chorche in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Dinamo Colorado booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Abastas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinamo Colorado made a substitution. Edson Braddock replaced Miguel Trigo. Uriel Chorche yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. After 67 played minutes Dinamo Colorado got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Santana. The supporters of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA booed when Dinamo Colorado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Arnaldo Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Gabon came free, but Wellington Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute André Monclús shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, André Monclús put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wellington Abraão. Dinamo Colorado's Leandro Damião was substituted for Sidnei Azevedo. Wellington Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Monclús, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Daniel Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnaldo Gabon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Dinamo Colorado got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Catarinense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dinamo Colorado players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA.
