Spectators: 7721 (Terracing: 5792, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Romeo Rienda made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Tello Calvo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Uriel Chorche was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. André Monclús could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Elvis Ribeiro made a huge save. If Romeo Rienda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Monclús's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elvis Ribeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of U.D. Mancini booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Gabon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Omar Erez threw the ball into play from the sideline. U.D. Mancini's Dagoberto Escobar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 20th minute, Romeo Rienda made a precise shot to the right of Uriel Chorche. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Arnaldo Gabon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Elvis Ribeiro made a huge save. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Omar Erez got a free kick in the 28th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Arnaldo Gabon managed to get in a good position for a shot. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Gabon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvis Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elvis Ribeiro made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Arnaldo Gabon sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute Tello Calvo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Chorche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, U.D. Mancini's goalkeeper Elvis Ribeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Gabon. In the 48th minute, Brion Macia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

U.D. Mancini were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dagoberto Escobar took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Dagoberto Escobar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Uriel Chorche quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 67 minutes, Omar Erez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA and the U.D. Mancini players grew even worse after the yellow card. Omar Erez kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Uriel Chorche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Rienda in the 78th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Romeo Rienda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uriel Chorche. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romeo Rienda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Gabon in the 86th minute of play forced U.D. Mancini's goalkeeper Elvis Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by André Monclús. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. U.D. Mancini had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
