The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonas Smefeldt made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by U.D. Mancini's Tello Calvo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Rienda in the 5th minute of play forced Team Rocco's goalkeeper Marcus Klint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. U.D. Mancini's Elvis Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Unesson in the 8th minute of play. Joakim Björklund scored 1-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elvis Ribeiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joakim Björklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Elvis Ribeiro made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Team Rocco's zone, Romeo Rienda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Klint came out of the goal and Romeo Rienda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. U.D. Mancini's Romeo Rienda got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Team Rocco's zone, Romeo Rienda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Klint came out of the goal and Romeo Rienda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, U.D. Mancini's Dagoberto Escobar got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

U.D. Mancini's Romeo Rienda got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tello Calvo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Romeo Rienda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Klint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Rienda in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Team Rocco's Jonas Smefeldt got a free kick in the 68th minute. U.D. Mancini made a substitution. Angelino Gonzalez replaced Falo Saboya. Marcus Klint was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Romeo Rienda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 74 minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Romeo Rienda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcus Klint, 1-4. In the 92nd minute of the match, Romeo Rienda tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcus Klint saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 94 played minutes U.D. Mancini got a freekick which was hit by Ebardo Acha. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Team Rocco lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
