Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lawrence De Marco in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maarek Allikvee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7thth minute of the game Lawrence De Marco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Rebel's Maarek Allikvee was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amadeo Rapinett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silver Roolaht, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of FC Rebel booed when Attard Gunners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jake Debono didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Enar Stüf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Rebel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Amadeo Rapinett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silver Roolaht in the 33rd minute of the match. Amadeo Rapinett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enar Stüf, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Maarek Allikvee stood somewhat misplaced when Lawrence De Marco came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 36 minute. Andrea Xuereb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maarek Allikvee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lawrence De Marco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute Enar Stüf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Rapinett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lawrence De Marco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Rebel's Maarek Allikvee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Xuereb in the 51st minute of play. Maarek Allikvee didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrea Xuereb went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 63rd match minute, FC Rebel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enar Stüf to maneuver through the defense. Amadeo Rapinett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kunnar Varendi in the 65th minute of play. When Leo Tabone fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Attard Gunners's protests and gave Leo Tabone a yellow card for diving instead. Leo Tabone hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute Lawrence De Marco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maarek Allikvee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kunnar Varendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Amadeo Rapinett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Rebel's Maarek Allikvee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Xuereb in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Attard Gunners getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Clayton Brockdorff hit a great ball. With a little luck, Attard Gunners's Amadeo Rapinett got control of the ball when Norman Võrk tried to sneak it across the goal line.
