One of ASF BAIA MARE -MM-:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AC Pitt Bier:s goal. Felix Vărzaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ege Vecih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Vermeşan in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Sandu Gheorghiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sandu Gheorghiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ege Vecih breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Rosendo Seguinus got control of the ball when Hieronim Literski tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to ASF BAIA MARE -MM- getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Victor Huștiu hit a great ball. AC Pitt Bier's Hieronim Literski got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joost Crans didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, AC Pitt Bier's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Huștiu came free, but Ege Vecih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Heebels in the 58th minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Rosendo Seguinus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Victor Huștiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ege Vecih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geert Kremer charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The AC Pitt Bier fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ASF BAIA MARE -MM- were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
