With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aage Weiss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aage Weiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Rywin in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Grasshoppers Klucze's Sylwester Ziemniak seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sylwester Ziemniak the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Grasshoppers Klucze protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sylwester Ziemniak had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Grasshoppers Klucze:s Feliks Dec showed great skill when he stopped Benjamin Oppenheim:s penalty. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Birger Koppenhöfer made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Grasshoppers Klucze's Bernard Lewicki got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roch Mikulski during the 58th minute. Grasshoppers Klucze's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
