When Santo Pablo came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Socavon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Pablo couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, Ferran Rial notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Black Sky FC's Generoso Chan. Generoso Chan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute Ferran Rial shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Chan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toni Schumacher made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severino Hanot in the 26th minute. If Santo Pablo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualterio Rojo's late challenge caught a Black Sky FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualterio Rojo helped the player get up and apologised. Toni Schumacher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Hanot in the 33rd minute of the match. Black Sky FC were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Socavon FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Julian Ignado took the corner. Julian Ignado made a great header on Black Sky FC's corner, it was just that Socavon FC's Toni Schumacher managed to reach the ball for a save. 36 minutes into the match, Socavon FC's goalkeeper Toni Schumacher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Tavio. In the 39th match minute, Socavon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidencio Lima to maneuver through the defense. After 40 played minutes, Black Sky FC's Julian Ignado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Toni Schumacher came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Black Sky FC reached it. 41 minutes into the match, Socavon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Telesforo came free, but Toni Schumacher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferran Rial in the 44th minute of play forced Black Sky FC's goalkeeper Generoso Chan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Socavon FC booed when Black Sky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Ignado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Castel Concepcion hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Toni Schumacher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Tavio, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Socavon FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferran Rial was the one to do the kick off. Socavon FC's Ferran Rial was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 51st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Toni Schumacher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Hanot's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santo Pablo got free with Generoso Chan in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, Baldomiro Contero fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Generoso Chan, passed just outside the right post. Generoso Chan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ferran Rial showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 67 minute of play. Toni Schumacher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Hanot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Severino Hanot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Socavon FC's Javier Puget was substituted for Santo Pablo. The supporters of Socavon FC booed when Black Sky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Fidele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier Puget sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Socavon FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Socavon FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
