In the 12th minute Fabian Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keylor Navas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, Reconquistense FC's Fabian Bermudez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keylor Navas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the match, NECKER49's Teobaldo Gaztea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Austin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. NECKER49's Keylor Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Norino in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Reconquistense FC's Anacleto Norino got a free kick in the 19th minute. After some careless play in the Reconquistense FC defense, Leandro Haritzeder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesus Austin. The Reconquistense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesus Austin should have stopped the shot. Jesus Austin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Ursino, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 31st minute of the match NECKER49 got a corner. Reconquistense FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teobaldo Gaztea ran over to the corner to take the kick. Teobaldo Gaztea made a great header on NECKER49's corner, it was just that Reconquistense FC's Jesus Austin managed to reach the ball for a save. After taking down the ball on Reconquistense FC's corner Everardo Onofre fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Keylor Navas quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Haritzeder in the 66th minute of play forced Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Jesus Austin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesus Austin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Ruy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reconquistense FC were awarded a corner in the 100th minute after NECKER49's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Everardo Onofre took the corner. The corner led Reconquistense FC's Everardo Onofre to fire away a dangerous shot which Keylor Navas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. NECKER49's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
