In the 3rdth minute of the game Toro Morales who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Toro Morales got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ignatius Casasola quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 7 minutes, Toro Morales made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Frontera AFC's Toro Morales in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garanhão do SUL's goalie prevented a goal. Ignatius Casasola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Txanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The audience was convinced that Toro Morales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignatius Casasola was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Julião Valverde hit a great ball. Garanhão do SUL were furious when Almiro Cabral was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 26th minute, Almiro Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Angel Edorta hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Toro Morales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignatius Casasola was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Nereo Txanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toro Morales's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ignatius Casasola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Janson during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Frontera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Janson to maneuver through the defense. Frontera AFC's Chiquinho Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Roriz in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Roriz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ignatius Casasola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toro Morales, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Obafemi Fabiani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ignatius Casasola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toro Morales in the 65th minute of the match. Obafemi Fabiani hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute of the match Aquilino Dunixi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ignatius Casasola showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's Nereo Txanton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignatius Casasola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frontera AFC's Chiquinho Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Águas in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute of the match, Nereo Txanton got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ignatius Casasola was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 79 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by Angel Edorta. Abel Lameirinhas charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Lameirinhas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Nereo Txanton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ignatius Casasola. That made the score 0-2 in the 84 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Ignatius Casasola successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Frontera AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Frontera AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
