Claes Andreasson was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Kurdistan's players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC Kurdistan's Claes Andreasson to fire away a dangerous shot which Delmar Mel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Delmar Mel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mattias Svahn's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mattias Svahn in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delmar Mel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edward Bergström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Quintun in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match, Modesto Ranolfo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edward Bergström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 19 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Quintun came free, but Edward Bergström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jordan Peterson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Delmar Mel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Quintun in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Edward Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattias Svahn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delmar Mel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, FC Kurdistan's Oskar Lustig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delmar Mel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a little luck, FC Kurdistan's Edward Bergström got control of the ball when Edelmiro Nerio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raimundo Orlo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The Masters United F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Kurdistan were winning 1-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Orlo in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Edward Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Kurdistan booed when Masters United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Nerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Kurdistan's Jari Litmanen was substituted for Jordan Peterson. Edward Bergström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Ranolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Delmar Mel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. With an all-out effort, FC Kurdistan's Delmar Mel threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eddie Andreasson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of FC Kurdistan booed when Masters United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Ranolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
