The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gerry Belisle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zelg FC's Stefan Beller got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goalkeeper Aurelius Bolduc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Orlo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefan Beller in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmar Mel saved Masters United F.C. from getting behind. Delmar Mel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerry Belisle, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 14th minute, Gerry Belisle made a precise shot to the right of Delmar Mel. Masters United F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Aurelius Bolduc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Nerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Kemen hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Masters United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Beller came free, but Delmar Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Stefan Beller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delmar Mel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Clint Müller's late challenge caught a Masters United F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clint Müller helped the player get up and apologised. Matias Quintun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stefan Beller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delmar Mel having to make a save. If Gerry Belisle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Cordaro during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Claudio Cordaro hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Masters United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Beller came free, but Delmar Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Stefan Beller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Fernando Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match Oscar Erasmo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delmar Mel skillfully saved the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerry Belisle made a kick off. Claudio Cordaro hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. The corner led Zelg FC's Oscar Erasmo to fire away a dangerous shot which Delmar Mel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aurelius Bolduc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Quintun in the 59th minute of the match. Luis Beltxe helped the player get up and apologised. Gioele Spillmann charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zelg FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
